Interested in racing at a 50% reduced entry fee?  Volunteer yourself or offer up a friend or family member to support the event. These slots are offered on a first-come, first-served basis and are available for both the Steelman Open Water Swim and Steelman Triathlon.  

 

To reserve your DISCOUNT SLOT, please send an email to dale@steelmanus.com with the volunteer's name, email, position desired, and age.

Positions available include:

 

Steelman Open Water Swim: 

• Volunteer yourself and receive credit towards the Steelman Triathlon

• Volunteer friends and family and receive credit towards the Steelman OWS

• Packet pick-up

• General volunteers, Aid Station, Athlete Tent

• Parking Assist

• Body Marking

• Cleanup

Steelman Triathlon:

• Friday setup

• Saturday Packet Pick-up

• Sunday Race Day

• Parking volunteers – great option for athletes racing

• Kayak volunteers – must have own kayak

• General volunteers for marshals, aid stations, body marking, etc

• Tear down / Clean-up

  

All volunteers will receive piles of gratitude and bank a large dose of Steelman karma for future use, along with an Official Steelman Volunteer shirt, and refreshments.
